Stroud joins the Mentawai Tribe of Indonesia for eight days in a jungle renowned for its poisonous insects and reptiles. Connecting to the tribe’s history, Stroud eats the daily food staple called ‘sago’, hunts with bow and poison arrow, and under–goes painful ancient tattooing.
